I-WIN · Business development

Entrepreneursfirst.Consultants second.

We work alongside people running tobacconists, bars and restaurants, guest houses and gaming venues. We have run businesses like yours and still do: we know where value is created, where margin is lost and how a business grows.

About us

We have worked your shifts.

I-WIN was founded by people who have opened, run and grown businesses themselves. We do not arrive with a model to apply: we arrive already knowing what a bad day feels like, how much a supplier who gets a delivery wrong really costs, and what it means to be short-staffed on a Saturday night.

That changes how we work. First we listen, then we look at the numbers, and only at the end do we propose anything. If we cannot see room to be useful, we say so at the first meeting: it is quicker for everyone.

Consulting says very little. We do one thing only: we put back in order businesses that someone built with their own money.

On site, not on a call: decisions are made where the work happens.

Who leads the work.

Three complementary skills around one table: from margin to processes, from purchasing to people.

The I-WIN team: Mirza Cehaic, Camilla Brandstetter and Anil Gaba

Camilla Brandstetter

Sectors we know

Four worlds we know from the inside.

Businesses run on a licence or a concession, where the rules weigh as much as the market. This is the ground we grew up on.

State monopoly & tobacconists: sector imageState monopoly & tobacconists

State monopoly & tobacconists

Every tobacconist has hidden margin. Our job is to find it. We look at processes, management control, organisation and product mix to understand where value is created and where it leaks away. There is no single recipe: every business has different strengths worth building on.

  • Range and stock turn
  • Counter services and side income
  • Dealing with the ADM

Food & Beverage: sector imageFood & Beverage

Food & Beverage

At the counter, margin comes from average spend and turnover: coffee, display, aperitivo. What matters is what you put out, at what time and at what price — not how many hours you stay open.

  • Coffee and display
  • Food cost and average spend
  • Aperitivo and takeaway

Hospitality: sector imageHospitality

Hospitality

A good year is decided in the months when nobody is around. Rates, sales channels, occupancy and reputation have to be steered together, not in separate boxes.

  • Rates and seasonality
  • Channels and direct booking
  • Reputation and reviews

Regulated gaming: sector imageRegulated gaming

Regulated gaming

A sector where compliance is part of the profit and loss. Concessions, distance rules, obligations and looking after customers all have to be read as one system.

  • Concessions and compliance
  • Layout and floor presence
  • Sustainability of the model

Our method

Five steps, in this order.

No step is skipped and none is cut short. That is usually where it goes wrong: people jump to the solution before understanding the problem.

01

Listening

We come to you and let you talk. Before the numbers, what counts is the story of the business and what keeps you awake.

02

Analysis

Accounts, takings, costs, opening hours, staff, suppliers. We look at the data you already have, without asking for new reports.

03

Opportunities

We put on the table where margin can be recovered and where there is room to grow. Including when the answer is «this is fine as it is».

04

Strategy

A few moves, in order of priority, with stated timings and costs. A plan that fits on one page can actually be carried out.

05

Hands-on support

We stay until things really change. On site, not on a call: decisions are made where the work happens.

At the end of the process we do not leave you a document: we leave you a business that runs differently.

Let’s start with the first step

Why I-WIN

Four reasons, put plainly.

01

Real experience

We have opened, run and — when it was necessary — closed businesses of our own. We know what it means to sign a lease and to cover a salary at the end of the month.

02

Tailored approach

No template. A village bar and a venue in the city centre have different problems: first we understand yours, then we decide what to do.

03

Network

Suppliers, professionals, operators and managers across the four sectors. Many solutions are not a new idea: they are the right person at the right time.

04

Focus on results

You care about margin, not slides. Every piece of work has a measurable goal agreed before we start.

In the field

Three situations we know well.

Typical cases, told as they were. The names of the businesses that gave us their consent are below, in their own words.

State monopoly & tobacconists

A long-established shop with steady takings but falling margin and stock standing still.

What we did

Range review, new counter services, reorganised opening hours.

Food & Beverage

A bar with excellent morning numbers and an empty room from the afternoon on.

What we did

Display rethought by time of day, price list revised, aperitivo properly structured.

Hospitality

A property depending almost entirely on booking portals, with low season uncovered.

What we did

Rate policy by season, direct channel, active management of reviews.

Verifiable references

At the first meeting we put you directly in touch with businesses that have already worked with us.

What they say

The words of those who work with us.

Reviews from owners we support between Bolzano and Merano, published with their consent.

They helped us run the different sides of our venue in a more organised way, improving control over the business and identifying new opportunities to grow.

Christian · Bar PierinoVarna (BZ)

Bar · Tobacconist · Gaming Hall

They helped me analyse my business better and optimise several aspects of day-to-day running. I found professional, down-to-earth people who were always available.

Christian · QuadrifoglioBolzano

Tobacconist

Running different activities inside the same venue takes organisation and an overall view. With them we found competent support that is genuinely focused on results.

Mattia · TUOMerano

Bar · Restaurant · Tobacconist · Gaming Hall

They know our sector and how it works. Talking to them is always straightforward and it lets us make better-informed decisions for the venue.

Franco · PidocchiettoMerano

Bar · Gaming Hall

They helped me look at my business from a different angle, spotting things that could be improved. Above all I appreciated their practical, concrete approach.

Nicolò · Tabaccheria PaganiBolzano

Thanks to working together we found new ways to make the most of the property, improve the guest experience and run the business with a closer eye on results.

Contact

One hour, in front of your numbers.

The first meeting is a conversation, not a presentation. You come out of it with a clear idea of what can be done — including when the answer is that you do not need us.

  1. 01You tell us about the business, with the numbers you already have.
  2. 02We tell you frankly whether we can be useful.
  3. 03If we can, we put goals, timings and costs in writing.

We come to you: we are happy to hold the first meeting at your premises, at times when you are not under pressure.
